The NGO workers, who were present at the event, interacted with the people living in the slum area to find out their basic and major problems. It was found that many of them did not have the basic documents required for availing of benefits from the Government of India. Documents like Adhar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Bank Account, BPL Ration Card, Chiranjivi Card, and Birth Certificate were missing. Due to the unavailability of these documents, they were unable to draw ration, get an LPG connection, receive old aged and widow pension, or get admission for their children in school.

Additionally, it was found that some children aged six and above had not yet been admitted to school. The workers prepared a list of such children and their families, which is attached as Appendix A.

The workers also created awareness among the people about the importance of having these documents and how they could be obtained. They also urged the people to admit their children to school for education.
