Inauguration of ‘Aapni Pathshala’ : A New Dawn in Community Development – Republic Day 2026

On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day 2026, Umang Foundation, Ganeshpura, marked a significant milestone in its journey toward community transformation with the inauguration of Aapni Pathshala—a comprehensive community development initiative launched at its office premises. This groundbreaking program embodies the foundation’s commitment to holistic community upliftment, encompassing education for children, sports development, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation through tree plantation drives, cultural enrichment, farmer welfare, health and wellness camps, and dedicated support for veterans, widows, and war widows of the Indian Armed Forces.

The name “Aapni Pathshala,” which translates to “Our School” in Hindi, reflects the community-centric approach of this initiative, emphasizing collective ownership and participation in the journey toward education and empowerment.

The Inaugural Ceremony
The formal inauguration of Aapni Pathshala took place on January 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM onwards, graced by the presence of Shri B.S. Rathore, Former Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Losal Chhoti, who served as the chief guest for this momentous occasion. The ceremony witnessed enthusiastic participation from 26 bright-eyed students, eager to embark on their educational journey.The event was attended by distinguished members of Umang Foundation and dedicated team members:

  • Smt. Anuradha Bhawaria, Treasurer, Umang Foundation
  • Shri Banwari Lal, Teacher (English and Mathematics)

The inaugural day featured several meaningful programs. Support books were distributed to 25 students to aid their educational journey. A prize distribution ceremony was conducted to honor students who demonstrated academic excellence. An interactive lecture on Swachhata Abhiyan (Cleanliness Campaign) was organized, with each student receiving soap to promote hand hygiene before meals. The program also included a Republic Day observance to foster patriotic values among children.

The ceremony concluded with refreshments for all participants, creating an atmosphere of warmth and community fellowship. The inauguration of Aapni Pathshala marks Umang Foundation’s expanded commitment to holistic community development, creating opportunities for growth and empowerment for all community members.
